I have an HTC desire HD when I view a website using FireFox mobile I get the mobile version of the web page. I would like to disable this and get the normal version of the web page. As most of the time the mobile pages do not have all the same features as the full page. I could do Thor with my previous mobile browser.

What you want is some utility that will change the "user agent string". That's what the web browser passes to the web server, that tells the server what app it is, what platform, version, etc. You want to change it from FF mobile, to say, Firefox 3.6 or whatnot.

Check the Android marketplace for some such thing, that'll work with FF mobile - or with some other web browser that's available for your phone.

You can test out what your user agent string is by going to http://www.useragentstring.com/

If you want to appear to be a desktop browser install the Phony extension. Open the preferences and set the user agent to Desktop Firefox
