Thanks for the quick reply. I tried the way told me. This is the scenario of the problem I am having. The Box opens "Edit this Bookmark" I click on 'Bookmark Menu' to open the drop-down. I click on 'Choose' (to select the folders) The problm I have that it does not show all the different folders in the bookmarks. ( for example I want to save the link in my 'Finance' folder. How to I get to select the folder I want to save the link. ) Thanks.
Try this:
-> press CTRL + B -> The Box opens "Edit this Bookmark" -> from Folder Drop-down click Choose... -> Double-click Bookmarks Menu -> create New Folder and Name it e.g. Finance -> choose the newly created folder and click Done button.
Now you can add new Bookmarks to Finance folder by:
-> press CTRL + B -> The Box opens "Edit this Bookmark" -> from Folder Drop-down select Finance folder -> click Done button.
Check and tell if its working.
Thanks again.
Let me explain what is happening:
I moved to Firefox from Internet Explorer!
Naturally I imported all my IE bookmarks to FF. I had organized my bookmarks under various folders.
All the imported bookmarks show up properly in FF.
However I am unable to add a new bookmark to an EXISTING (imported) folder. I use VISTA Operating system.
Are you able to add a Bookmark to a Newly created folder ??
