On my NC10 netbook certain sites start loading, but keep hanging halveway, like testpages on www.cameralabs.com, was no problem, no problem on IE etc. What to do? Drives me nuts.

Mainpage opens no probs. Open testpage (of Nikon 50mm F1.8 for example) and page opens, but hangs halveway on ads or something. IE opens with "fault on page", but opens at least! Same with lots of sites. Was no problem untill recent. Run Win XP, Win firewall and AVG and Avira anti virus.

Install this add-ons to block the ads: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

When you see the option to subscribe to "Easylist" during the installation process, click OK.

After you restart Firefox, go to the Adblock Plus subscriptions page here: https://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions Scroll down to the bottom of the page and in the section called "Miscellaneous", subscribe to this one as well: "Malware Domains". This will afford you additional protection against malware.

I have a friend in Thailand who has an NC10 and in spite of the fact he only has a 2G Aircard, the performance of which is abysmal, he doesn't experience any problem loading sites with Adblock Plus installed.
