when I click on the firefox icon it should go to my Yahoo home page - instead I get a white page with Bad Syntax Request

Instead of going to my yahoo home page from the desktop firefox icon - I get a white screen with all the toolbars but the only thing in the browser wind is Bad Syntax Request

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
