Win 7 64 bit can't install any addons at all?

When I do <Tools> <addons>, I get a blank window with a "What are addons" message. This says that when I am connected to the internet this pane will display the available addons", but tghere are no addons displayed?

Try going to the Firefox addons site and looking there for addons.
