How can I delete "authorities" certificates? I highlight one and ask to delete it and say OK. Then it is not in the list, until I look at the list of certificates again. It is there. So Firefox does not really delete it. Help!

I have tried more than once to delete the "authorities" certificates. It looks like it works. However when I go out of that window and then back to look at the certificates, they are not deleted.

I really do not want all those certificates just there.

You can edit a certificate and remove all trusted bits if you do not want a build-in certificate to be used as a root certificate.
