How do I change from my old email provider to the new one so when i click on a web link I dont get the old proviser which I no long have?

Often webpages contain links to someone who can be contacted just by clicking on the contained link and then one's email service pops up with the required email address etc filled in. However i have recently change service provider and I still get the old provider showing which I no longer have, when I click on such website links. How do I get the new provider to show?

For Firefox you would generally have Use system default if on your system , or choose a web based system such as GMmail

T00ls > Options > Applications > mailto: (drop down has choices)

Windows OS

Control Panel > Default Programs > choose program if on your system or Firefox if web based email
