Using Internet Explorer 9, website won't allow pdf document to be saved to my computer. The website's helpdesk tells me that Internet Explorer 9 may be the problem and that I should triy Firefox 3, 4 or 5, which their website supports. The website worked with the previous edition of Internet Explorer, but apparently does not with the newer version. Now I find that none of these is available and have been replaced with 6. Will Firefox 6 also not work?

You can try to install Firefox 6 to see if it works if you use the right-click context menu "Save Link as"

You can install the portable Firefox version to access websites if you want to do a test first.

Make sure that your anti-virus software is blocking the PDF files.
You can disable your AV software temporarily to test that.
