My Netscape has a "Window" option, which lets me save my mail on my computer. Does Firefox not offer this option?

The top tool bar lists "File," "Edit," "View," "History," "Bookmarks," "Tools,"and Help." Netscape lists "Window" between "Tools" and "Help." This "Window" drop-down lets you go to "Navigator," "Mail & Newsgroup," "Instant Messenger," "Composer," and "Address Book." Is this feature not available on Foxfile?

The Netscape you describe appears to be perhaps the old Netscape 7.2 (August 2004) based on the old Mozilla 1.7.2 suite. The suite has a web browser, email client, composer and such built in while Firefox is a web browser.

If you still want to use a suite then the SeaMonkey suite may interest you as it is a community effort to keep the old Mozilla suite going. http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

If you still want to use Firefox and have the other things also then there is Thunderbird for email client, ChatZilla extension for irc and KompoZer would be in place of Composer.
