TouchPad won't scroll in Firefox 6.0.2 (except for one website).

The TouchPad on my Toshiba laptop will no longer scroll. When I run my finger over the scroll zone of the touch pad, the mouse shows the little scroll icon, but the page doesn't move. The scroll works with every other program (including IE) and an external mouse's scroll wheel works. Weirdly, the scroll does work on one page (www.trainingweb.cogmed.com) which runs on Flash. This problem began recently, but I didn't notice it as being tied to any specific updates or events.

I reloaded the touchpad driver from the Toshiba site (there was no more recent update) and that didn't work. I tried some of the other suggestions from others on the forums with no luck. I'm hesitant to download a newer Synaptics driver for fear that it won't play nicely with my Toshiba.

Not being able to use my scroll feature will drive me to abandon Firefox if it can't be fixed, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

After more than a week of futzing around trying to fix this with no success, the scroll feature has suddenly fixed itself. It must have seen where I typed that I would abandon Firefox if this didn't get fixed. I hope everyone else is as lucky as I was, since I can't tell you what happened.

I was having this problem as well. I started by disabling all my Addons and discovered that Adobe Acrobat Reader was the problem. Disabled the addon and installed PDF Download 3.0.0.2 and everything is working fine now.
