Trying to Firefox Sync between iMAC OS X 6.6 desktop with my Toshiba Satellite M45-S331 laptop (Firefox on both). I have setup Firefox Sync on my main iMAC successfully. Now when I go to laptop, I cannot obtain Firefox>Preferences>Sync to obtain the three codes to take back and insert on the desktop. I click on the Firefox icon (top lt. corner), giving me only "Restore, Move, Size, Minimize and Maximize". It doesn't give me a "Preference" option to obtain "Sync". Will appreciate assistance. Thank you! :o)

In Firefox for Windows, the "Preferences" window is called the Firefox options, preferences and settings instead. You can open it by using the "Options" command in the "Tools" menu.

It looks like you are using Firefox 3.6 on your Windows laptop. To use Firefox Sync, you will need to install this add-on or update to the latest version of Firefox.
