How do I download a version of Firefox earlier than 3.6.23? After updating to 3.6.23 I had problems, so I removed it from OS X.

After updating Firefox to 3.6.23, I had problems --slow downloads, mouse problems, sites wouldn't open at all, no audio or video. I was having none of these problems before my most recent update. I went to the Firefox help site and learned that 3.6.23 could be removed by removing the application from OS X. I did that. Now I would like to download an earlier version. How do I do that?

The versions prior to Firefox 3.6 are no longer supported or considered secure, it is not be recommended that you use them as it could put your system and, personal data at risk. (Firefox 4 Firefox 5 and Firefox 6, are also no longer supported.)

As you appear to use OSX 10.4 you will be restricted to Firefox 3.6. The later point releases of 3.6 will be stability or security fixes. I believe 3.6.24 is planned soon.

Maybe a Mac user will be able to offer you more useful advice.
