Where does Firefox put the deleted bookmarks after you delete them?

After I delete a bookmark, I never see it in the Recycle Bin folder later. It seems like it just completely gets removed from my computer. Is this true?

It just disappears.

If you delete the wrong bookmark you can use the Undo feature in the Library window to restore the bookmark, until you close Firefox. Plus, Firefox stores 10 days worth of bookmark backups, which can be restored if you have already closed Firefox before realizing that you needed a deleted bookmark.
