With windows "favorite" (bookmark) you can right click on a favorite and select "send to", then desktop, and it creates an icon that you can click on to open. Seems much quicker than using bookmark tabs. Any way in Mozilla to do this?

Hey shipper,

This is actually really easy to do. All you have to do is go to the webpage that you want to bookmark. Click on the site icon to the left side of the URL and drag the icon to your desktop.

It's probably easier to see it done, so you should look at the KB article Create a desktop shortcut to a website.

Hope this helps!

Matt-thanks for the reply! When I drag it to the desktop, the icon changes to a Mozilla icon(world) but does have the correct name. Is this normal that you loose the original icon?
