On certain web pages such as Google Analytics, the image flickers during an Adobe Flash mouse over event. This occurs in Firefox 7 and 8 but does not occur in Internet Explorer. On other other web pages with Flash video, the screen seem to do the opposite of the intended flash response. For example, the time line for the video will appear when the mouse is off the time line but will disappear when the cursor is placed on the time line...thus making it impossible to fast forward or select different positions on the time line.

Chosen solution

I believe the problem is solved. I disabled Windows Aero and all of the Flash related mouse over events seem to now be working properly.
