I wish to clear all autocomplete information for website forms including username/password forms. I have tried History - Clear Recent History - Everything with all the options in Details checked but Firefox still suggests previous entries for autocompletion of forms.

Safwan - maybe you didn't read my original problem - I said I checked all options in the "Details" list - that includes cookies and form history - so your answer does not address my question.

You can't clear the passwords via Clear Recent History unless you use the setting to do that when you close Firefox.

You can clear saved passwords manually in the Password Manager

If you want to remove saved form data from a drop down list then use these steps:

  1. Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  2. Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  3. Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
