after trying out some add on's and even after disabling them, and even after reinstalling firefox afresh, i'm unable to open most of the websites(including gmail, hotmail, facebook etc).where as my other browsers works quite fine. the message keeps displaying that the "connection is untrusted"...pls help fellas...thank you

--thanks for the replys, but it didnt solve my problem, -- let me elaborate it more.... --i maintain 2 users on my laptop.browser in the standard account works fine.the problem is in the admin account. even if i trust the connection etc, i'm able to view only the html view. --even the fire fox add on page is in plain html view.pls advice..

What are you expecting to see other than an "html" view? Please elaborate a bit more in specifics, define "html view", thanks.

Also, you chose a solution, so now what is the problem?

--what i meant by "html" was , i'm able to see just plain text, no graphics, no images or pictures, no page layouts , no nothing buddy. -- n yes my system time is correct -- the browser works fine in my standard account.

Try:

View => Page Style => make sure that "basic page style" is the one selected.

Also, helpful hint - don't mark a reply "Solution Chosen" until your problems are actually solved, thanks.
