How do I turn off keyboard shortcuts? I got the extension that allows me to edit them, but I want to turn them OFF! How can I?

When typing information into web forms, I accidentally hit something that causes all the information in the field to be deleted. Lengthy emails get erased, among other things. I do not know what combination of keys I am hitting to do this and I can't get my info back!

I don't use keyboard shortcuts anyways so I want to TURN KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS OFF! How can I do this?

What happens to get that data erased?

You can disable the Backspace key easily by setting the browser.backspace_action pref to 2 on the about:config page to avoid taken back to the previous page.

If you hit Ctrl+R or Ctrl+W by accident and reload or close the current page then see if you can clear the action for those key presses with the extension.
