Is there a 64 bit version of Firefox? I downloaded what I thought was a 64 bit version, it looks and acts the same as Firefox but is called Nightly. Is this the 64 bit version of Firefox?

Yes, you are using a Nightly build (a pre-release development snapshot) of a future version version of Firefox. 64-bit Windows builds are meant for testing only. The 64-bit Windows builds are not officially supported and in many respects are slower than the 32-bit version. We recommend using the 32-bit version because it is better-optimized, better-tested, and more supported.
