I am using a proxy and have set the ip and the address in network settings. Is there some way, I can set the username and password (http auth) for this proxy url?

If there is some add-on to do this, please recommend.

I can write my own plugin if required. Simpler ways such as storing in some sqllite db or some other setting is preferred.

Thanks. I am able to see network.proxy.http and network.proxy.http_port - However I do not see one for providing an username and a password in the about:config entries.

Thanks for the answer, I believe I am moving in the right direction.
