Can I delete older Firefox.exe downloads without jeopardising my latest Firefox 14.0.1 update?

I've got the latest Firefox version 14.0.1 running. Long back I'd downloaded older versions of Firefox like the 2.0 and 3.0 etc. as exe.downloads before installing. I still have them on my PC under downloads. Can I trash them without jeopardising my running 14.0.1 version to save space on my hard drive?

Chosen solution

Yes

There is no need to keep the older install files.

You may consider keeping one of the recent full install files, it could come in handy if you need to reinstall firefox and have no browser available, but in normal situations the OS has a browser anyway. So in your case you should have Internet Explorer [IE] available from XP

If you are thinking about what you do need to keep it may be a good idea to back up your bookmarks and even the whole Firefox Profile. See

If you have other devices sync may be useful
