Is anyone else still experiencing crashing from video? Ever since the June Adobe/RealPlayer issue I have had problems. Any new ideas?

FF frequently crashes when a video option pops up. I have run the fixes and removed RP. It keeps happening. Not all the time but several times a day. Usually preceded by a 60 second freeze.

Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox 14 are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:

Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems

Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again

Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox

Tyler, thanks for the reply. I have run these fixes previously and the problem got better but did not go away entirely. I have just uninstalled RP and will see if that fixes the bug once and for all.

Unfortunately for the majority of these Flash issues we are having to wait for Adobe to release an update to fix them. There is a Realplayer update for Realplayer 15 that may help some of these problems.
