I used to be able to type in keywords in the URL bar and it would automaticly do a google search on it. Now it doesn't. I've tried everything, please help I want my keyword search back.

Yes, the Address Bar (or the Awesome Bar) can be used to search stuffs. You can check your current Firefox configuration through about:config and typing the correct keyword.

To follow the steps on how to make your Awesome Bar search bar for Google, go to Search the web from the Address Bar and follow to turn on Internet Keyword search feature.

Sorry, but I tired all of those steps. And it didn't work. I have even reinstalled firefox. Still nothing.

For a while, my awesome bar at top left would not search unless it had an official www internet address. I tried about.config and promised to be careful, but no change. I made the search bar at top right a bit larger and set for Google and use that when I have just a word or two to search. Works if you ask a question, too.
