Java Platform is missing

Hello

Firefox disabled the Java Platform because it was out of date, then I implemented the update, but the plugin still appears in the list as the older version.

Then I uninstalled all the old versions of Java, and installed the new one again, but now the plugin is missing from the Firefox list. The only one that appears is the Deployment Toolkit.

Everytime I go to the Java page that verifies the plugin, it keeps saying that I do not have Java installed.

Notes: - I have installed the 32-bit version. - "Enable Java content in the browser" is selected.

hi, cor-el!

In the java page (and other pages that require java) the message I got is that the plugin is missing and asks me to install it. But it's already been installed!

I don't have any option to activate it for a site.

Do you see the Java plugin on the Tools > Add-ons > Plugins page?

No.

As I have mentioned, I only see the Java Deployment Toolkit.

Thanks a lot, cor-el. This help me fix the problem!

I had to uninstall JavaFX first, then I used IE to install the latest version of Java. And it worked!
