The latest update says it doesn't support the current version of Symantec vulnerability plug-in, so I'm afraid to update since I'd lose the Symantec security feature. Why is the latest update important? When will you support the current version of Symantec?

hello, please note that it is always the third-party developer of an addon that is responsible for the compatibility of an addon & adjusting it to work with new firefox versions.

according to norton the extension is not paramount for the protection of your system, so since firefox 22 has fixed 14 security vulnerabilities you're certainly better off updating firefox as soon as possible & waiting for a few days until symantec is releasing an update for its extension...
