I am new to Firefox. Is there a way to download .ogg audio files playing in the browser window to my desktop. I am able to download MP3 files playing in my Safari browser and at one time this worked for .ogg files as well. In Safari the url in location window ended in either .mp3 and .ogg; I would highlight the location window address and click option+return. File would download to desktop. Now with .ogg files it downloads to html link to firefos browser instead.

I am also new to Firefox. From Firefox start screen click the add-ons icon. In the search box at top right type in " music downloads " and click the magnifying glass - many options will appear by clicking on the blue " more " of each option you will receive additional info. Hope this helps, I have used the Flash Video Downloader add-on with great results.

You can check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" window to see if there is a link to .ogg or .ogv files if you are on a website that plays such a file.
