if you don't depend on their functionality you can disable all of them...

I use is Real Player to play stuff, but I don't know if it needs any of these plug-ins.

i think it's safe to disable all of them at first - once a site really depends on one of those plugins to display content, then you should get a plugin icon on the left of the address bar that indicates which exact plugin is missing once you click on it.

Plugins with Download in the name are only needed when you want to use RealPlayer to download media files, so you can disable those in the RP preferences or in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins".

  1. RealPlayer Download Plugin
  2. RealNetworks(tm) RealDownloader PepperFlashVideoShim Plug-In
  3. RealNetworks(tm) RealDownloader HTML5VideoShim Plug-In
  4. RealDownloader Plugin

The others are used for playing media files embedded on web pages.
