When I start Firefox and start typing something in the Google search window, the gray arrow shows up and goes from the (not exactly) middle of the screen to the right corner. It looks the same as if you started to download something, with the difference that the arrow is gray instead of green. It is the same animation. Needles to say, I am not downloading anything.

Thanks!

Can you try to open the download manager and delete all downloads there? I hope that the problem won't exist afterwards.

Thank you very much! Your answer helped me.

I was worried that it isn't some virus.

All the best!
