What exactly are you trying to do? Thunderbird will not display a Junk folder until you go into Junk controls and set one up. The default setting for handling of junk in Thunderbird is to add a junk icon beside the message header and place the message in the Inbox. Tools-Account Settings-Junk Settings Email providers usually have a Spam folder. You would need to log into your email account at your providers web mail page to manage those settings.
