Recently, whenever I go to a website that has some info/links/UI that should be locked to the bottom of the screen, it instead shows up and inch or so above the bottom. So I was part of the website on top, the a floating info bar, then a tiny amount of website at the bottom. I have included an image to show what I mean, but some websites have even bigger bars that cover more of the screen. When I scroll up and down the website this floating bar remains at the same location on the screen, just about an inch up from the bottom.

Is there a way to fix this?

I can no longer access my local TrueNAS server nor router via Firefox. My current version is 133.0.3. Safari has no trouble. Firefox gives no warning, no Advanced button, no option to bypass security. All I get is: "Unable to connect An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.0.102.

I have tried so many settings, troubleshootings, workarounds, I can't begin to list them. It happens in troubleshooting mode. I have created SSL certificates on the server many different ways to no avail. I'm thinking I will have to abandon Firefox with it's obscure, no-way-through security. But I wanted to ask for help first. Please help.

Just upgraded to a new system with Windows 11. Avast Security. Installed Thunderbird 128.5.2esr same as on old system. Migrated old emails using MozBackup. Worked great for a day. New emails, archived a bunch of emails to a local folder...

Next day after about 3-5 minutes Thunderbird shows the Hourglass and is not responding. Eventually will go to a greyed out window. I have to kill it with task manager. I noticed that in Activity Manager three calendars were syncing for a long time. Disabled all calendars.

Task manager shows CPU usage but 0 Network and 0 Disk activity. 3 sub processes but only one has CPU. Resource Manager shows CPU and 72 threads. Resource Manager - Analyze Wait Chain - reports "waiting to finish network I/O."

I've tried Troubleshooting Mode. Still froze during Troubleshooting Mode. I've tried moving a large local folder out of the mail folder entirely. I've tried clearing the startup cache. I've tried clearing the system temp folder.

I have a lot of accounts, saved emails and message filters. So I really don't want to start over again with an empty Thunderbird and reset up accounts.

I have been using Firefox for years..and Quickbooks on line(intuit). Overnight I can no longer access my account. I can log in but but now Firefox is stuck in the loading screen. I do have access on Chrome. Any ideas? (the green dots are the loading animation..they just keep spinning.) mm

i just purchased a brand new MacBook Pro directly from Apple that had MacOS Sequoia on it already. I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, and it won’t launch. I read your article about users who had firewall enabled on MacOS BEFORE upgrading to Sequoia having issues with Firefox not launching, but in my case, it’s a new system that had Sequoia on it already.

Is there any workaround to this??? I rely on Firefox so much that I can’t migrate to my brandnew MacBook after paying so much for it.

Notifications for certain news websites stop working after a day or so, after activating them. They work just fine and then stop coming altogether. Also, the notifications I received become unclickable after a while, but that's all notifications, not just the news ones.

I have 3 profiles. And I'm using uBlock Origin. I tried adding scripts and all that, but there's something between Firefox and MacOS that is simply blocking the pushes. Maybe some buffer/leak problems? I've reset everything several times, but the problem keeps coming back.

This happened several times in the past couple years, so I simply stopped using FF notifications altogether, and started using another browser for them. But I prefer FF altogether.

Since Android 12, many apps can take "scrolling screenshots" that capture more than just the currently-visible part of the screen, with an aptly labeled "capture more" button. The bug happens in private browsing, To recreate the bug open any website in desktop mode in private browsing then open any other app (it should then say that firefox is active in the backround) then re open firefox (the page should refresh) the menu says its in desktop mode but it loaded the andriod website and pressing the desktop mode button does not change it.

Major issue with Yahoo comments - click on 'view Comments' and it disappears to a blank page. Yahoo comments works with another browser. How to fix so I can continue with Firefox? Frustrated trying to figure out why and fix.

Firefox and dwm.exe load the CPU up to 40W when the computer is idle in windows 11 24H2. If it is on and the computer is locked, the monitor goes off and dwm.exe loads the CPU.
