Try just killing the Firefox or plugincontainer that is running instead of restarting the pc.

Why do you have two versions of Shockwave Flash shown as installed and also a shockwave for Director plugin.

You quite possibly do not need the Director plugin at all, and should only have the latest Flash Player plugiin installed.

(Note Internet Explorer will have a separate Flash Player plugin)
