Нажимая отмену в окне ввода мастера пароль, окно пропадет и можно посмотреть письма и прочитать их.

The master password protects your account password(s), assuming you did have Thunderbird to remember them. It's not supposed to protect the contents of the profile. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Protect_the_profiles_contents
