Hello everyone,

the last two days firefox 36 does not load or save (I cannot understand) my session. I can see that the sessionstore.js is not empty, the option from the preferences to show my windows and tabs from last time. And I tried to change the options from about:config regarding the sessionstore variables. Can someone help me figure out what is wrong with my browser. I am using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit

thanks, Haris

The solution was to create a new profile. Probably I messed too much the previous one. The thing is that thing happened without installing any addon or messing the profile. Anyway thanks for the help.

To make sure this is not an add on, does this happen in a new profile?

In the meantime while we investigate, the Session Manager addon has a backup.

About:sessionrestore will also pull up the file for further troubleshooting.

Are there any History > Recently Closed Tabs/Windows present or a restore previous session?

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).
