Website images displaying in wrong places?
Okay so I have only been recently noticing this problem within the last couple days and although it does not interfere with how websites work it is getting a little bit annoying...
I have noticed this problem mostly on Facebook and Youtube.
Basically what happens is some images will be in the place of other images until I hover my mouse pointer over them then they will disappear to reveal the correct image.
A youtube example would be: When you first go to youtube and sections of recommended videos, watch it again, and other categories of frequently watched channels show up with several videos... well lets say for example that the first line of 4 videos in order from left to right read: red yellow blue green and their picture is of an apple, banana, blueberry, and a green grape... Well in this instance the green grape would load fine, blueberry would load fine, but then apple and banana would be replaced by blueberry until i would hover my mouse pointer over it and then the correct pictures would show up.
Here is a facebook example: When you are "home" on your wall and you can see your user picture upper left corner and you scroll down to read some stories, or you go to the site on the next tab over, you return to find the first person on the wall who is posting's user picture over your own until you hover over it and then it shows your correct one...this will also happen with the my pages icon on the right side and sometimes the my pages icon will be correct but my upper right arrow on the scroll bar will have my business page user icon from my pages instead of an up facing arrow, again, until I hover over it to clear it.
I have googled this problem and have found some forums that say clearing the cache helps and it didn't if anything it seemed to have made it worse...I have also done a virus scan and I do not have any infections etc...
Can someone please shed some light on this small cosmetic yet irritating problem?? I really appreciate any information anyone can give me...like if this is even a firefox thing or if it is my computer or what.
Thanks!

Hey blackrosevain,
This sounds like CSS or Cascading Styles Sheets is being delayed in transmission. CSS allows for the organization and hierarchy of this images and HTML tags.
There are a number of issues that may cause this, largely relating to bandwidth or network availability.
My questions for you are: 1) What Operating system are you using? 2) What version of firefox do you have? 3) Can you send a screenshot of this behavior? 4) What Add-ons and Extensions do you have?

1. I am using Windows 7 home 2. 37.0.1 3. i have attached an image from youtube that based on the the titles it is obvious that the first two videos shouldn't have those pictures... I could not get the facebook example to work on cue (of course) but hopefully this one helps. 4. I have no extensions, i use the default theme, i dont have any service add-ons and then in the attachments I have sent over a screen of the plugins.
- Edit
I was able to get the arrow replacement on facebook to happen where my bussiness page icon replaces the up arrow... below I've added the screen shot.
- Edit 2
So I was also finally able to capture a screenshot (added below) of an instance where the first post on my feed by a friend replaces my left hand corner user picture with their user picture...Also while going to upload this picture I also decided to screen and upload a screen shot showing that even this page's browse button got kind of messed up in the process...
Thanks for all the help you can offer!

Issues with images being wrong can be caused by using HTTP pipelining (network.http.pipelining).
You can check the network.http.* prefs on the about:config page to see if any have been changed.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
