Links in emails from one source are not live. Become live when I forward the email.

Links in e-mails from one particular source show as plain text rather than underlined in blue. If I forward the email to myself, the link in the forwarded email becomes live and connects correctly.

emails from that source show a live and working link on my ipad on first receipt.

Links from other sources display as expected and connect.

My guess is that the source is failing to set a flag that firefox needs to activate the link.

My guess is the sender is not making them links, but plain text. Some mail programs like apples scan the text for what looks like links and activates them. This has some security risks, especially if say I am mailing you a link to a newly detected virus or malware for examination. I do not make it a clickable link for security reasons. I want you to have to copy and paste so you do not accidentally get infected. If the mail is scanned and links activated then my efforts are wasted.

My guess is it is an ancient mailing client like Eudora that is being used that sends plain text mail without links.
