Dragging a field from Keepass to input field firefox 44.0 is not possible
I cannot drag a username or password from Keepass to an input field of a website for login reasons. This happens to start with Firefox 44. Earlier Firefox versions did not have this problem. The problem also does not happen with Internet explorer 11.

I am using Keepass 1.30. The problem has to do with the new version of Firefox 44.0. Copy and paste is still working, but the drag and drop option does not.
please try it with keepass 2.31: http://keepass.info/
I do not want to use Keepass 2.31 while it requires Microsoft.Net Framework. The problem has nothing to do with Keepass, since Firefox 43 is ok and so is Internet explorer 11. It only occurs with Firefox 44.0.
I can reproduce the problem with Keepass 1.30, with 2.31 everything works fine. With earlier FF versions there's no problem.
It seems to be the same problem as in my earlier question: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1106595
Up to now I have stuck with Keepass 1.xx as it was usable on all platforms, whereas 2.xx wasn't available on all. Just been having a look and now this objection may be disappearing as it looks like 2.xx is supported on quite a lot. I have to say the drag & drop is important to me. When FF44 stopped me using it I had to copy to the clipboard to enter passwords, URLs and Userids, which is not good as I have a Clipboard manager as well. After using the clipboard I then have to clean up the clipboard manager, so it is a lot less convenient than drag & drop. I shall now have to research using Keepass 2.xx across all my platforms, and if all ok then I can upgrade to FF44 again.
Update 11/2/2016 I have now been able to use Keepass 2.xx across all my platforms now. Android, IOS, W7, Ubuntu.

I'm having the exact same problem using (Steganos Password Manager) since Firefox updated to version 44.0. Before this Firefox update I could drag & drop my usernames & passwords into website forms when logging in. Now it won't work. (Steganos Password Manager) still works fine on other browsers, IE, Chrome & Opera.
I see Firefox has now been updated to (version 44.0.1) but I still can't drag & drop usernames & passwords, so this problem has not been fixed yet.

I've just upgraded to Firefox (version: 45.0) and the previous problem seems to have been fixed. I can now once again drag & drop my usernames & passwords into web forms using my Steganos Password Manager. Many thanks!
I have a similar problem with KeePass. In previous Firefox version I was able to use the "auto-type" function to automatically past username and password in the login forms. In more recent version (including 45!!!) it doesn't work (nothing happens). I'm using KeePass 2.32, Firefox 45 and Windows 10. Please note that normal "paste" (CTRL-V) works fine, and that the same auto-type combination (default CTRL-ALT-V) works fine in Chrome and Edge, as in any other software (i.e., Notepad). Anybody has any hint on this? Thanks
UPDATE I'm narrowing down the problem. I tried moving from the 64bit version of Firefox to the 32bit and the problem disappear. KeePass (I think) is also a 32bit application. I'll stay with the 32bit until this problem somewhat disappear ... in the meantime if any of the programmers wants to have a look at this bug and fix it, it would be appreciated (well, it might also be an issues in KeePass, not necessarily in Firefox :-))
