1. Sudden warning from ISP. 2. Can't remove all history.3 Firefox hangs on bootup
While browsing with Firefox had sudden page warning from my ISP (TimeWarner - Spectrum) that there was a peer-to-peer malware intrusion. No instructions on how to resolve given or name of malware. Finally worked around and deleted all history. Closed Firefox entirely and rebooted whole machine.
When Firefox came up was unusually slow to reach home page. And History was full again. Deleted History again. And rebooted Firefox
Found History removed all but lines with Amazon. So entered Amazon with email and password and then logged out of Amazon. Erased all of History and rebooted Firefox. History still showed many lines with Amazon in them.
And that's where Firefox is now. Automatically installs URLs with Amazon lines into History when booting up Firefox. Frustrated with Firefox, Amazon, and ISP.
Example when clicked on 1 of 11 lines of Amazon in Firefox History. https://feed.browserapps.amazon.com/assets/feed-process.html?locale=US&assetTag=define(%7B%0A%20%20%22eTag%22%20%3A%20%22b98458b23d36b181fcff4af0dc8e7816%22%2C%0A%20%20%22lastUpdated%22%20%3A%20%222016-10-29T04%3A18%3A35.188Z%5BEtc%2FUniversal%5D%22%0A%7D)%3B
Please note: It wasn't near that long in Firefox History.
