I have restarted in safe mode.

I have updated to latest version.

Task manager shows two versions of firefox running pushing CPU usage to 100% so I have to stop firefox using task manager. Also if I have more than on tab open, if I click back to another tab the page just hangs then reloads, wherein it used to just be there.

Windows 7; all updates in place. Cannot type anymore; I’d be all night whilst page is headed ‘Mozilla not responding’

Help appreciated.

As you already tried Firefox Safe Mode, Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
