firefox has gotten so slow i use explorer yahoo finance streaming, livecharts dont work

lately firefox has gotten so slow many sites i use take too long to open. i am using explorer which i dont want to especially for yahoo finance for streaming data, livecharts stock tracking which uses flash. explorer opens these sites much quicker and allows data streaming wunderground weather takes forever

You could turn off Multiprocess (e10s) and see if that'll make a difference :
Type in the address bar about:config (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and search for the preferences : browser.tabs.remote.autostart and set it's value to false browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 and set it's value to false

Note: the exact name of the preference may vary, but it will start with browser.tabs.remote.autostart

If the above doesn't do the trick :
If you have any anti-virus software installed,   such as Kaspersky, AVAST, Bitdefender : try and disable it   (for now)   and see if that makes a difference.
