For example:

"Next Page" button on weeklystandard.com/article/2011088 doesn't work.

"Next Day Hourly Forecast" on www.wunderground.com/hourly/10011 doesn't work.

These buttons work fine in Chrome. I think there's some kind of problem executing the script. This started happening after recent updates, perhaps with release 57. It happens both on Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. (Firefox 57 and above) Click the Library button 57 library icon and choose History.
(Click the menu button New Fx Menu and choose History in older Firefox versions.)
  2. In the History menu, choose "Clear Recent History...".
  3. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  4. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  5. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  6. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

That doesn't help. I usually use Privacy Mode, so cookies and cache shouldn't be an issue. I use Incognito Mode with the Chrome browser without a problem.

Again, it seems to be a problem with how Firefox 57 executes certain scripted links.

I can replicate this issue on the wunderground page.

The wunderground page shows an error in the Web Console.

Not sure if anything is wrong on the first link because I see extra content appear if I click the button.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Ghostery, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

  • make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Thanks for checking on this.

About "Next Day Hourly Forecast" on wunderground.com: Then I guess it's a scripting error on the website that causes the problem, though the link works fine in Chrome. Using IE, I get a warning about a script slowing down the website and when I choose to stop the script I'm then able to use the "Next Day" link.

About extensions and weeklystandard.com: I have none installed. I have no idea why you can get the extra content from the "Next Page" button on weeklystandard.com articles. It doesn't work for me on two computers running Windows 7 and one running Windows 10. I can get the extra content with both Chrome and IE.

I just checked the web console while browsing weeklystandard.com articles. It reports "TypeError: DY.API" is not a function" when I click the "Next Page" button.
