Okay so i just tried firefox quantum which was supposed to use 30% less memory than chrome while it actually uses 3 times more memory. Is there any explanation? I have the same tabs open on both the browsers. also : Google Chrome Version 71.0.3545.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) Firefox Quantum downloaded from website as of september 8, 2018.
