When I make selections from the toolbar on the very top of the screen (File, Edit, View, etc.), the selected one will get grayed out. Could you advise how to fix it? Many thanks.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

It's blue for me. The color may be the selected Windows "Window Color & Appearance" coloring.

I don't know if that can be shut off, but I am seeing a slightly difference in how it works when the Menu Bar is set to show all the time vs. when it is hidden and the Alt key is used to temporarily reveal the Menu Bar; for what it's worth.
