Firefox used 650 mb mobile data yesterday, not wifi. I was home and wifi was connected. 400 mb said was background. Can I set firefox to only use wifi and not mobile data? Connot find anything in settings that allows that. Last night blew through my allotment 3 days into my cycle. I'm using an android phone.

Check that your mobile data is switched off and Wifi on. This is what I do. I never have mobile data swithed on as a habit. If mobile data is switched off phone will use what is available. . . Wifi!! Hope this helps.
