I recently uninstalled lockwise and set my autofill to firefox. I dont use a lock screen/pin and this is the main issue.

It keeps asking to unlock firefox and after pushing it several times, nothing happens. If I make a pin, it asks for pin then works. I can disable and it will work for a bit but then it stops.

Please give me the option to use my phone without a pin as I choose and use FF as my default as I have been forever :X

Thanks.

Mozilla was singularly unhelpful when I asked the same question....took just a month to figure it out after the "tech" support guy insisted it works. Well, it does, but.....Mozilla forces you to have a PIN, Password, or Pattern set in your Android device to unlock it when first using before they allow the app password feature to work. Apparently Mozilla thinks everyone has that set up. Damn...

Yea that is the expected reply coming from them. They can't be bothered to fix their own problems because the are focused on redesigning and rebranding bullshit.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers. If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.
