I can't set Firefox as my default browser.
I went into setting and Firefox is not on the list of defaults. I think the issue is that I downloaded Firefox through the website and not the MS app store. Because when I open the "Look for the app in Microsoft Store" tab on the default list, it opens the store and lets me download Firefox again. I wouldn't mind doing this but it downloads it to my C drive and I need it on my F drive because my C drive is my SSD and is used for only Windows and because Windows keep getting bigger and bigger, I am running out of storage on it. When I try to move the newly downloaded Firefox to my F drove through the "Apps & Features" menu where you can uninstall apps. It tells me Firefox can't be moved. So there seems to be a communication error between windows and the none app store download.
The pics show the default option first with Firefox downloaded from the web not being there (setting 1), then Firefox being there (setting 3), and last the failure to move the files to the F drive (setting 2). Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hello thurst777,
Have you tried to go to Firefox's Settings page (by clicking the menu button on the top right corner of your Mozilla Firefox browser), and clicking "Make Default" to make Firefox your default browser? Hopefully it works.
Regarding the installation of Mozilla Firefox from the Microsoft Store, I tried changing the download location of Microsoft Store apps from my C drive to my D drive, but it seems that the Microsoft Store version of Firefox must be installed to your system drive (C drive). Refer to the first attached screenshot for additional context.
Regarding the installation of Mozilla Firefox from the Mozilla website, I uninstalled my copy of Mozilla Firefox and it seems that the setup file you get from this link (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/download/thanks/) will not allow you to choose your install location (if you have previously installed Firefox).
However, the setup file you get from this link (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release) does allow you to choose your install location if you choose the Custom installation option. Refer to the second attached screenshot for additional context.
In my case, the new copy of Firefox I installed to my D drive's Program Files managed to show up in the default browser selection list. Refer to the third attached screenshot for additional context.
Hopefully this solves your C drive storage issues and that your new installation of Firefox using the second link's setup file will show up in the default browser selection list.
If this answer managed to solve your issue, kindly mark it as the solution(solved)! If it did not, kindly report back so I can help!
