There is a hotkey on my keyboard causing firefox to go back a page. I don't know which keys, it only happens by accident, and does not include navigational arrows.

I'm running vista with Firefox 3.6.3. Every time my left hand slips, Firefox goes back a page & I lose everything I typed. I don't know if it's a vista setting or a Firefox setting. For both, the specified hot-keys for navigation include arrows. My arrows are all the way across the keyboard. The ones within reach (& possibly causing the problem?) are control, alt, or windows... I have no idea what key or combination of keys might be causing this. What could it be and how can I change it?

Alt Leftarrow will go back a page.

Backspace will also do it sometimes. To prevent that, change the value of browser.backspace_action in about:config to 2
