how do I turn off the hover feature over links; the popups irk me, prevent me from smoothly reading articles; I'm about to switch to a different browser despite its lack of tabs (I want the hover to work when built into the html code, as in navigation bar
How can I disable the hover feature over links, not navigation bars. The pop-ups while reading articles block, and anger me and I don't need this added aggravation in my life. If I want the link, I'll click on it! This doesn't happen when I use the Safari browser.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
== a month or two ago after an update, and on my work PC and home MAC computer. It does not happen in Safari!

What hover feature or pop-ups? Can you give an example page URL.
e.g. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/af_uganda_explosions eg. just hovering over the "Uganda and Burundi" words that for a link
I don't see them (Fx 3.6.6)
It's either the Yahoo site itself or something on your machine.
Try Firefox safe mode Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
Your right, I think it's yahoo news and sbcglobal.com emails only (and in both Firefox and Safari -- I must have tested a different source in Safari -- my bad)
