Format of homepage 'nytimes.com' breaks up dropping news far below heading and other areas of blank space?

When I go the front page of 'nytimes.com' the masthead and left index column appear.But below and to the right of that is just a blank white area. The main text falls far below after approx. a page length of this blankness. The gaps repeat in several places. Sometimes only for the US Edition, other times for the Global Edition, now it is for both?

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
