http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forums is for users registered to do support activities, such as creating and proof reading the KnowledgeBase articles. "They" are is the process of implementing new forum software and rearranging the layout of the forum, resulting in many problems like dead links. Right now, I can't even log in with the Username I have been using for the past 3 years.

IMO, it's like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
