I exported my passwords (.xml) from Fox 3.0 to an external drive. I then reinstalled Windows Vista on my computer (losing all my data). Then I downloaded Firefox 4.0.

How do I import the passwords from my external drive? (3.0 => 4.0)

The profile manager does not have an import feature that I can find.

Firefox doesn't save or export passwords in an xml file, you probably did that export with the help of an extension. You should be able to import that xml file by using this extension.
